It is made of an emerald green color silk fabric covered with hand sewn iridescent clear sequins, silver beaded dragon and phoenix with pearl beaded eyes. The Chinese consider the dragon and phoenix symbolic of blissful relations between husband and wife, a common yin and yang metaphor used for weddings. This beautiful beaded bridal Chinese cheongsam wedding dress evening gown has a long floor length fitted hourglass style, with side slit skirt vents, a mandarin collar, sleeveless, a side zipper and snap closure. There are snaps at right shoulder that go all the way to the Mandarin collar. It is fully lined in green fabric. This is truly a wonderful handmade fully lined custom made piece of Westernized Chinese cheongsam wearable art. The color is emerald green, not the darker green of the close-up pics of the beading. It was very difficult to capture the true color. I tried again to get consistent color in my photographs, however, impossible.
fits like a small, in excellent condition with normal signs of wear for age. some minor marks in the lining. There is some fading on the lining at the side slit.
